BILS, established by the labour movement, shall contribute to develop Bangladesh to be a prosperous democratic society, which will be free from discrimination and exploitation of all kinds and where equal rights and opportunities will be ensured for all people in respect of fulfilling their basic needs like food, shelter, education, medical care, social security, rule of law, peace and progressive socio-cultural environment. Workers should not be treated as a commodity but the respectable partner of progress.
