Work For: - Project Goal: Vulnerable women in Old Dhaka develop a sustainable livelihood for themselves in a supportive and enabling environment.
Pathway 1 - Individual resilience and capacity:
1. Targeted vulnerable women have access to health service
2. Targeted women know about conditions affecting the health of households
3. Targeted women report and respond to cases of domestic violence
4. Women have functional literacy and numeracy skills
5. Women are competent as caregivers
Pathway 2 - Vocational Training:
6. Target educational institutions (formal/informal) provide vocational training to women
7. Targeted women have improved life skills that support their social and economic empowerment
Pathway 3 - Economic and Social Empowerment:
8. Targetted women trained in vocational skills are employed or self-employed
9. Targeted vulnerable women in Old Dhaka are networking and advocating for their interests
Pathway 4 - Community Support & Prevention:
10. Each women have a circle of support in their community
11. Local communities are able to identify and solve their challenges together
12. Local communities combat gender-based violence
